January 18, the date when Jeffery and I got married. Wow, 17 years ago, 2 kids later and yes, a few wrinkles here and there (more here). We like to try new things and new restaurants and so we took the kids to a new place, Sirena Cociana Latina. We actually answered a Facebook invitation from Troy Johnson, San Diego Magazine’s Food Critic to come and taste his cooking! This guy can cook! It’s always fun to follow him and his reviews on food throughout San Diego, but normally those that critic …won’t cook! Well, he did, and I am happy I tried ceviche for the first time ever. I loved the fresh taste, the full palate spices, and loved the atmosphere of the place as well. I could not have been there without taking a few photos, so enjoy and hopefully the images make you hungry enough so you can go and try it for yourself.
