Junior Achievement of San Diego County celebrated its “1 Millionth Student” served since the non-profit first opened its doors in 1950. This  special event and press conference took place on April 24, 2018 at the JA Campus.

During the event,  honored guests were presented with testimonials of JA students, alumni and JA board members.  A few enthusiast students shared their stories and passion for the life changing programs offered at JA.

JA’s financial literacy programs teach K-12 students how to plan for a meaningful career, start a business and manage their money.

The fundraising ” 1 Millionth Student Campaign” will help reach $5million to impact 20% of the San Diego Student population by 2020. It will enable the non-profit to reach students from all communities, including the ones in the low income areas.

To help launch the campaign, the Alexander and Eva Nemeth Foundation made a very generous donation gift to name the “Circle of Life” in Mission Fed JA Finance Park.
